Battlefield 6 Hits Game Pass Oct 13 in Stacked Wave

Microsoft has locked in the rest of October’s Game Pass lineup, and the headliner is a monster. Battlefield 6 joins the service on October 13, available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. It’s the undisputed star of nine additions arriving between October 8 and 16.

EA’s blockbuster shooter broke series records at launch, selling over 7 million copies in three days and topping Steam’s best-seller charts. Post-launch updates and a surprisingly involved Top Gun collaboration have kept it moving into 2026. Getting it on Game Pass just weeks into its lifespan is exactly the kind of move that sells subscriptions — large-scale warfare with destructible environments, for the price of a membership most subscribers already pay.

Today brings the first trio. Echo Weaver is a day-one time-loop metroidvania where time manipulation is the core mechanic. Forever Ago, also day one, is a single-player road-trip adventure about photography, exploration, and redemption. And Neon Abyss 2 arrives as a fast-paced co-op roguelike — notably, it’s also available to Game Pass Premium members, not just Ultimate.

October 13 is the heavy date. Alongside Battlefield 6 comes Deep Dish Dungeon, a day-one co-op survival exploration game mixing handcrafted dungeons with metroidvania progression, and Valor Mortis, a day-one first-person soulslike set during the Napoleonic Wars from the creators of Ghostrunner. The October 15 drop adds Bluey’s Happy Snaps — a photography romp starring the Heeler family — and Chained Beasts, a co-op gladiator roguelike. Beyond These Stars rounds out the wave on October 16, a PC-only day-one city builder set on the back of a space whale.

Game Pass giveth, and Game Pass taketh away. Nine games leave the service on October 15, and the headliner hurts: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, last year’s Game of the Year winner, departs less than two years after joining. A Plague Tale: Requiem, Pacific Drive, Donut County, Crime Scene Cleaner, Evil West, Nova Roma, Superball, and The Casting of Frank Stone go with it. If any of those are sitting in your backlog, the clock is ticking.

Seven of the nine newcomers launch day one on the service, which is a genuinely strong ratio for a single wave. Between a record-breaking shooter, a Soulslike, and a photography game starring a cartoon dog, October’s second half looks like one of Game Pass’s busiest stretches in a while.
